Lois Oberg: TH happy knitter

Lois Oberg uses a lot of yarn. She has been knitting for many years, actually since she moved to Two Harbors from Maine in 1964. She learned to knit from May Moore and still consults with her when she runs into a pattern challenge. Lois donated over 200 pairs of mitten and socks this year alone. Two Harbors children received about 150 of her mittens at the Salvation Army Christmas distribution last Tuesday.

Little kids need mittens!" Oberg exclaimed.

If you see Lois, thank her for her generous donation! What a wonderful thing to do for our kids!

TH library seeks a mobile volunteer

The Two Harbors library is seeking a volunteer to put up posters around the Two Harbors community advertising library events and programs. The volunteer will be needed on an occasional basis and tasks can usually be arranged around the volunteer’s schedule. A car or other means of transportation is necessary. If you are interested in this volunteer position, please contact Jan at AEOA at 834-2280, ext. 108
