Alice Nettie Teman, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 17, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and many of her loved ones.
Alice was born Nov. 9, 1919, the second of four girls born to Arthur and Lydia Schletz in Duluth, Minn. She graduated from Denfeld High School and Young and Hursh Business College. She met Ray Teman at Business College. They fell in love and later married in Seattle, Wash., in 1944. Alice worked for Shell Gas Company in Seattle and for the Bridgeman Russell Company in Duluth. After her children arrived she became a full time homemaker.
Alice had an enthusiasm and a love for life. She was dedicated to and had a great love for her family and friends. She had a deep abiding faith in God and was an inspiration and example to many.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Bill) Stephens and Daniel (Espie) Teman; grandchildren, Ted (Carolyn) Teman, Alice (Scott) Stair and Renee (Seth) Loeffler and great-granddaughter, Annalyce Loeffler; sisters, Dorothy Swanson Stirewalt, Francis Lynch and Audrey (John) Pike and many loved nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the staff at Chris Jensen, especially all of those who worked in the Willow Wing for all the love, care, kindness, gentleness and patience you showed to Alice and her family.
