I want to commend editor, Tammy Francois and reporter, LaReesa Sandretsky for the great job they are doing for our Lake County News-Chronicle.

I had come close to not renewing our subscription because it seemed the Chronicle had just become a repeat of articles I was already reading in my subscription to the Duluth News Tribune.

While I have lived in Duluth for a long time, I have remained interested in what goes on in my hometown.

These women have rejuvenated the Chronicle in my opinion, with interesting, in-depth articles of local interest, lots of good color photos and all around excellent placement and style.

You’ve made the paper worth reading again.
