Volunteer spotlight: Betty Josephson

Betty Josephson is a dedicated volunteer. Her name is well known in Silver Bay. She volunteers with the North Shore Area Partners, the North Shore Golden Age Club, and the Salvation Army where she is the client representative and the contact for Christmas food and toy collection and bell ringing. She also helps out with mother and child nutrition programs for Lake County and is a volunteer driver for medical appointments.
Betty organizes a monthly widows luncheon in Silver Bay, as well as the
May Day baskets. In 2006, Betty received the Outstanding Senior for Lake County. And, until
recently, she was very involved in ticket sales for Bay Day.
WHEW! How does one person do all that?!
