Darren Lee Nelson and Taylor Cristy Ray were married June 30 at Woodlake Lutheran Church in Richfield. The groom’s parents are Rick and Tami Nelson of Richfield and the bride’s parents are Rick Ray and the late Kim Ray of Two Harbors.
The bride graduated from Augsburg College in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in biology and received her Associate Degree in Applied Science as a medical lab technician in 2010. She is currently pursuing certification as a medical laboratory scientist. She is employed at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. The groom graduated from Augsburg College in 2008 with his Bachelor of Science in health and physical education and received his Master of Special Education from the University of Wisconsin- Superior in 2010. He is currently employed at Park Center High School in Brooklyn Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson reside in Minneapolis.
