Lake County Community Connect is a free one day event to sign up for services or receive services from over 30 agencies in one convenient location. This year’s event will be held on Friday, Oct. 26th at the Two Harbors High School. The event, which includes a variety of agencies and services, a free dinner, groceries, clothing, health checks, and a whole lot more will be held from 3 - 6 pm. Volunteers are needed to staff a variety of positions including set up, greeting people, staffing at the "store", and assisting
with dinner. Volunteers will be asked to attend a brief training and sign a confidentiality statement. If you are interested in volunteering at this important event, please contact Jan, AEOA, at 834-2280, ext. 108.
