Congratulations to Lee and Juanita Schumacher who recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

Deepest sympathy goes out to Laura Packard and family in the loss of her son Joseph Klar, who died on September 7, 2012.

Get well wishes go out to Bob Nikolai who spent a few days in St. Luke’s Hospital and is now at home recovering. Also birthday wishes go out to Bob who is turning 75 on Saturday.

The Knotted Pine and Tavern will celebrate its 75th anniversary this Saturday, September 15. The event features Dickie Singleton barbecue, drink specials, raffles and prizes. The Knotted Pine started as a tavern and gas station in 1937. Today is offers lodging, fishing, outfitting and more.

Paul and Ginger Tolzmann celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary up the North Shore. While in the area they visited with relatives. Happy Anniversary!
