Linda L. Udenberg, 57, passed to the Lord the first hour of Aug. 20 in her home with her ex-husband and life partner at her side.
Linda L. Udenberg, 57, passed to the Lord the first hour of Aug. 20 in her home with her ex-husband and life partner at her side. Private services were held Aug. 24 at her daughter, Samantha's, home.
Linda was born Nov. 30, 1954, in York, Nebraska. She completed the 11th grade and went to Alaska in 1974. She lived in Anchorage from 1974 to 1983 and Wasilla from 1993 to 1997, where she got her GED and a college degree. She lived in Two Harbors from 1997 to Dec. 1998 where she worked at the Sunrise Home, Superior Shores and as a seamstress for an outdoor supply company. She returned to Alaska in Dec. 1998, and worked for Tesoro North Shore Oil Co. for almost 14 years.
She was a member of Muldoon Assembly of God Church.
She was a true Alaskan woman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and the outdoors.
Surviving her are Greg Udenberg, life partner; father and mother, Howard L. Smith and Betty J. Smith; daughters, Samantha Hudon & Christine Phillips; sister Karen Downs; grandchildren, Ivory & Angel Hudon, Samson & Luke Phillips, all of Anchorage, Alaska. Father and mother- in-law, Eugene (Sonny) Udenberg and Sharon Udenberg and family. Also all of her friends in Two Harbors.
She will be dearly missed by all. She was a strong, caring, and giving person who made the most out of life. May the Lord bless her and hold her.
