Name: Agate Bay Outfitters

Who: Esther Jenkins of Two Harbors. Jenkins worked at a similar store in Duluth for about five years, but this is her first business. She’s been a Two Harbors resident for ten years. So far, she is running the store on her own with no employees.

Where: The store is located on Seventh Avenue in between the North Shore Café and the Vanilla Bean Café.

Products: The store will sell a range of clothing, souvenirs and gifts, specializing in custom printed clothing, done in-shop to the customer’s specifications. A large printing machine sits behind the front counter, and Jenkins says she has two boxes full of designs. “It takes less than a minute,” Jenkins said.

She hopes to supply Two Harbors High School athletic teams with custom printed team clothing in the future. “Hopefully, we can attract both tourists and locals,” Jenkins said.
