On July 17 and 19, Mesabi Range Community and Techincal College held enrollment fairs at William Kelley High School in Silver Bay and Two Harbors High?School in Two Harbors. The college is partnering with the high schools to offer a millwright program at WKHS and a welding program at THHS this fall. Students who participate will be charged normal MRCTC tuition and earn a certificate from the college, but will take classes at the high schools. At the enrollment fairs, students applied to the program, signed up for financial aid and took placement tests. The admissions counselors at the event said there was still limited space in the program. Prospective students can find more information at www.mesabirange.edu.
