Iliya Hoffert of Two Harbors was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Saint John’s University in Collegeville. Hoffert is a sophomore majoring in music. Students with a grade point average of 3.80 or higher are named to the list.

Meredith MacDonald of Two Harbors was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Students with a grade point average of 3.50 or higher are named to the list.

Gary Nieman of Two Harbors was named to the Dean’s List at Bemidji State University for the 2012 spring semester.

Ben Schield of Two Harbors graduated with Bachelor of Arts degrees in philosophy and history from the University of Minnesota, Morris in May.

Matthew Sonday of Two Harbors graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in aquatic biology from Bemidji State University in May. He was also named to the Dean’s List for the 2012 spring semester.

Michael Borud graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management information systems, Nellie Connolly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and criminology, Wesley Lynch graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and Amanda Ruberg graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in psychology.

Brian Turk of Two Harbors graduated from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse with a Master of Science in Education degree in student affairs administration in higher education.

Dillon R. Goutermont of Silver Bay graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force, San Antonio, Texas and is now an Air Force airman.

Randy Willert was named the new CEO at the Two Harbors Federal Credit Union. Willert’s career includes positions with the Greater Minnesota Credit Union in Mora and Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union in Baxter. He began at the Two Harbors Federal Credit Union in June.

Amanda Ryder has been appointed to the Arrowhead Library System Governing Board. She is from Two Harbors and is the librarian at the Marshall School in Duluth.
