Roads open for ATV parade
The Lake County Board of Commissioners has approved the use of some county roads this weekend in order to provide a route for participants in the Silver Bay ATV parade to travel from Two Harbors to Silver Bay. Parking will be allowed at the Two Harbors Hockey Arena. There will be signage on the roads to inform vehicle traffic as well as ATV users.By: News-Chronicle, Lake County News Chronicle
The Lake County Board of Commissioners has approved the use of some county roads this weekend in order to provide a route for participants in the Silver Bay ATV parade to travel from Two Harbors to Silver Bay. Parking will be allowed at the Two Harbors Hockey Arena. There will be signage on the roads to inform vehicle traffic as well as ATV users.
The route is as follows:
County Road 2 from Two Harbors to the intersection with the Alger Grade. East on the Alger Grade to the intersection of County Road 3 continuing on the old railroad grade until it intersects County Road 3 again. East on County Road 3 until the intersection with County Road 4. South on County Road 4 until the intersection with the ATV trail.
ATV use on all other county roads is prohibited.
