Silver Bay curfew change OK’ed

The Silver Bay City Council approved an amendment of Section 510 of the city code to extend curfew ages in the city.
The curfew, which originally restricted the movement of minors under the age of 16 between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. during summer recess, was expanded to include all minors under the age of 18. One member of the public showed up for a public hearing on the amendment but said they didn’t have an opinion on it.
The council had discussed amending the hours under curfew but left them unchanged.
