The Arrowhead Library System is hosting a performance of “Raven and Grandmother Mouse” by Climb Theater at the Two Harbors Public Library at 6 p.m. May 31.
“Raven and Grandmother Mouse” is a lively adaptation of a Pacific Northwest folktale about truth and hard work. Children will enjoy seeing the story of Raven, a crafty bird, who wastes away the gathering season dancing while Bear, Squirrel, Beaver and Mouse prepare for the coming winter.
The play is geared toward children age 3-8.
Admission to the event is free thanks to sponsorship by the Arrowhead Library System and money from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund created through the passage of the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment by the vote of Minnesotans in November 2008.
