Get well wishes go out to Elwood Youngberg. Elwood spent a few days in St. Luke’s hospital and is now at home recovering from pneumonia.

Deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Harlan Rogers. Harlan died on May 6 at the age of 80. A memorial service was held May 10 at Sychar Lutheran Church in Silver Bay with burial at Sawtooth Mountain Cemetery.

Get well wishes go out to Ruth Himes, who underwent open-heart surgery in Rochester on May 15. She was transported Monday to Lake View Memorial Hospital in Two Harbors, where she will be recovering for a few weeks.

West Branch held a sock hop and car show Saturday. The weather was beautiful and fun was had.

There will be a Memorial Day Service held at Crystal Bay Cemetery on Sunday at 10 a.m.
