From Ward Kaiser
Silver Bay
It was great to see that the News-Chronicle had some nice coverage about the book “Company Town,” for which Kent Kaiser served as project manager and editor.
I’d like to add an additional point in that the entire proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Kelley High School. So, there is a double benefit – the book tells some of Silver Bay’s history, and it benefits the school financially.
I encourage people to buy the book – available for $10 at the high school and at the Bay Area Historical Society, as well as at the Cedar Chest in Beaver Bay.
I believe it would be of interest to history buffs, area residents, and tourists. It definitely belongs on the summer reading list of anyone from the North Shore.
