The University of Minnesota Duluth and the Northland’s NewsCenter have reached an agreement for the station’s My 9 Sports Network to carry home Bulldogs football and hockey games for the 2012-13 seasons.
Broadcasts of home football games start Sept. 8 with UMD hosting Winona State at Malosky Stadium. Football opponents include Augustana, Minnesota State-Moorhead, Bemidji State, Northern State and University of Mary.
“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with UMD,” David Jensch, vice president and station manager of the Northland’s NewsCenter, said. “Bulldog athletics is the premier sports attraction in the Northland, and we are very proud to bring them to our viewers once again.”
