The Mariners have now lost three games in a row. They fell 8-2 to Esko at home, 7-4 to Moose Lake on the road and 7-3 to Two Harbors at home. Their current overall record is now 13-6, with a game scheduled against Barnum on May 16 set to be their last regular-season contest.

The Mariners have now lost three games in a row. They fell 8-2 to Esko at home, 7-4 to Moose Lake on the road and 7-3 to Two Harbors at home. Their current overall record is now 13-6, with a game scheduled against Barnum on May 16 set to be their last regular-season contest.

Abby Saralampi gave up just three hits for the Eskomos as she allowed one earned run and struck out seven while walking one. Taylor Guzzo took the loss as she allowed four earned runs on 10 hits, struck out four and walked eight. Esko scored twice in the third and four times in the fourth to ice the game.

The Mariners scored once in the third and once in the fifth. Marina Carter scored on a Shay Viola single in the third, and Guzzo scored on a Carter single in the fifth after she had tripled.

Steph Miller had two hits for Esko along with Shawna Johnson; Katyanna Emanuel had three. Emanuel, Dani Johnson and Ashley Bergerson each scored twice, while Emanuel and Shawna Johnson each drove in two runs.

The next day saw Moose Lake score three times in the second inning to break up a 2-2 tie. Each team then scored once in the fourth and fifth for a final of 7-4. Samantha Johnson was the winning pitcher for the Rebels as she went the distance, giving up four runs on eight hits while striking out seven and walking no one. Carter took the loss as she went five innings and gave up seven runs on six hits. She struck out four and walked three.

Andrea Youngberg was the offensive star for the Rebels as she went 3 for 4 with a single, triple, home run, three runs scored and three RBIs. For the Mariners, Carter was 2 for 4 with two doubles, and Guzzo was 2 for 4 with two singles. Katie Smedstad went 2 for 3 with a single and a home run and two RBIs. Viola and Phoenix Lillis had the other Mariner hits.

The Mariners jumped out to a 3-0 over the Agates after three, but the Agates scored the next seven runs. They tied it up in the fourth and got the winning run in the fifth. Madison Olson gave up three runs on six hits and struck out 12 to pick up the win. Carter gave up four runs on three hits to take the loss. Olson was 2 for 4 at the plate for the Agates with a double and two RBIs. Jenny Grignon also went 2 for 4 and had a RBI. Smedstad went 2 for 4 for the Mariners with a double that cleared the bases in the third.
