Robert "Bob" Owen Scholar Jr., 61 of Two Harbors passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 2, 2012 at Essentia Health.
Robert "Bob" Owen Scholar Jr., 61 of Two Harbors passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 2, 2012 at Essentia Health.
He was born on October 15, 1950 to Toini and Robert Scholar Sr. in Two Harbors. Bob graduated from Clover Valley High School, where he met and married the love of his life Carol Ann Viergutz.Bob worked for the DNR as maintenance /groundkeeper at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park for 25 years. He loved his job and all of the wonderful people he worked with.He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years Carol, brother Michael of Mahnomen, MN, daughters Tammy and LouAnn (Rick) of Two Harbors, five grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A private family gathering will beheld at a later date per Bob's request.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
