Dylan Quaife was the winning pitcher for the Vikings and Daniel Wilson took the loss for the Mariners. The Mariners have a rematch with Two Harbors on Monday at Lynch Field. The Agates won 5-4 in eight innings at Two Harbors. The Mariners are at Barnum on Wednesday, and on Thursday they play Northeast Range.

The Polar League baseball race has Floodwood at 5-1 and Two Harbors at 6-1 on top, with 10 points each. Carlton is third at 4-2 with 8 points and Cook County is fourth at 4-4 with 7 points. The Mariners are 2-3 and sixth with 3 points.

The Mariner softball also has a rematch with the Agates at Lynch Field on Monday. The Agates won the first game by a score of 6-2.The girls are at Barnum on Wednesday to play their final regular season game.

Two Harbors currently sits on top of the Polar League standings with a record of 6-0 good for 10 points. Carlton at 4-2, Esko at 4-1 and Silver Bay at 5-1 are all tied for second place with 8 points. The Mariners will likely be the number one seed in the south half of Section 7A and two-time defending champion Cherry will be the top seed in the northern half of the section

The track teams will be at Barnum on Wednesday for the Polar League conference meet.
