The Two Harbors High School softball team won all but one of three games in the past week.
The Agates won 11-1 against McGregor last Thursday, continuing their winning streak from the previous week. Madison Olson pitched 14 strike outs, and the team supported her with 10 hits and 11 runs, according to coach Julie Benson.

The Agates rebounded Tuesday with a 6-2 win over rivals Silver Bay.
The Agates jumped to a lead early in the game with a run in the first inning and three more in the second inning. Silver Bay threatened in the sixth with two runs batted in and one runner left on base. The Agates answered back with two runs in the bottom of the sixth, solidifying their win. Olson was tough on the mound and worked will with Sasha to call and throw another great game, Benson said.
“There has always been a rivalry between the two schools so everyone was ‘up’ for the game,” Benson said. “We respect Coach Guzzo and his program and knew that his players are good hitters and could get the bats going at any time. Madison and Sasha stayed strong and the team gave them the run support that they needed. It was a good game.”
