Local photographer John Gregor will teach tips and tricks to photography at the Two Harbors and Silver Bay public libraries. Gregor will give his presentation “Professional Photography for Everyone” at 6 p.m. May 3 in Two Harbors, and at 6:30 p.m. May 15 in Silver Bay.
Gregor of Coldsnap Photography will share his inspiring presentation of photographs and provide ideas, tips and techniques that will help participants become better photographers. The program is geared toward teens and adults and will consist of two sessions of approximately 45 minutes each. The first session will focus on photographing nature; the second will focus on taking pictures of people.
Minnesota Monthly described Gregor’s workshops as: “Your sunset pics are okay, but when you’re ready to photograph the outdoors with artistry worthy of nature’s glory, call John Gregor’s ColdSnap studio in Two Harbors...”
Admission to the event is free thanks to sponsorship by the Arrowhead Library System and money from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund created through the passage of the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment by the vote of Minnesotans in November 2008.
