Norma O’Leary of Silver Bay Golf Course finished 11th at the 16th MGA Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship on Wednesday at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville, Minn.
O’Leary rebounded from an opening-day 87 with an 80 on Wednesday, finishing with a 25-over-par 167.
Kristen Wagner of Minneapolis Golf Club shot a final-round 75 for a 9-over-par 151 to beat defending champion Leigh Klasse of Meadowbrook Golf Club by one stroke for her first Women’s Mid-Amateur title.
