A man suffered from several facial fractures early Saturday morning after a confrontation outside of West Branch Bar and Grill in Finland.
According to Lake County Sheriff Carey Johnson, deputies were dispatched to West Branch around 1:30 a.m. Saturday to a report that an older man, who was later discovered to be William Feaster, was involved in a physical confrontation with several people. The reporting party told dispatchers that the man was able to speak and was conscious and breathing at the time.
Feaster was transported to Lake View Memorial Hospital in Two Harbors and was later airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, according to Johnson.
Johnson said alcohol appears to be a factor in the fight. No arrests were made. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident.
