Students completing their degrees were invited to participate in the university’s Winter Commencement held Dec. 17, 2011, on the UW-Superior campus.
Three area students graduated from The College of Saint Scholastica Dec 17, 2011.
Simbre Fosness of Knife River was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Management, Organizational Behavior with cum laude honors. Jennifer Swoverland of Two Harbors was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with summa cum laude honors. Anthony Nixon of Two Harbors was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
Joshua Deming of Two Harbors received the Community of Learners Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2011-2012 academic year.
