• 4:16 p.m. Deputy assists Minnesota State Patrol with report of vehicle accident on Highway 169 at Kawishiwi Trail. No reported injuries. Deputy transports two to Ely.

• 4:19 Deputy takes report of attempted break-in to Ely area cabin.

• 5:25 Deputy assists Minnesota State Patrol with report of car vs. deer on Highway 61 at Salakka Road. No reported injuries.
