AARP Minnesota is hosting a community conversation about health and retirement security today.
“Duluth, You’ve Earned a Say” takes place from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Inn on Lake Superior, 350 Canal Park Drive.
The forum is part of an AARP initiative focused on talking to citizens across Minnesota about what they want to happen to Medicare and Social Security.
“For the past year Medicare and Social Security have been under attack in Washington, but all of the debate has taken place behind closed doors,” Michele Kimball, AARP state director, said in a news release. “AARP believes that anyone who has paid into Medicare and Social Security has earned a say in the future of these programs.”
