Dale and Joretta Nikula returned home Tuesday after spending a week at the Host fest in Minot, N.D. They reported a very nice time with good weather. Dale and Joretta are always meeting people in their travels who know of Finland. Dale talked with a gal from North Dakota who had recently been to Finland and attended the Harvest Booya Fest for the first time. He also visited with someone who used to work with the bears and Lynn Rogers in the Ely area.
A correction to last week’s news: It was Kim Lillback Adams and husband who were here visiting her mother, Betty Lillback.
Ruth Himes and Judy Martell motored to Forest Lake Friday for a nice visit with Eleanor Elmstrom.
Get well wishes go out to Gary (Fuzzy) Kent who spent a few days in St. Luke’s hospital, returning home Saturday. Gary’s son, Jason, flew in Saturday morning, meeting his sister in Duluth, and will be spending some time with Fuzzy.
