Evelyn Buetow, Joy Blanchard, and Linda Nikolai enjoyed a nice lunch Thursday afternoon at the home of Ruth Himes and Judy Martell.

Kelly Lillback Adams and her husband, Robert, of Missoula arrived here Sunday to visit with her mother, Betty Lillback, and family. On Monday the family celebrated Ashley Klemmer’s birthday. Birthday wishes go out to Ashley. Birthday greetings also go to Kelly, who celebrated her birthday Thursday. This is the first birthday in 30 years that she has been able to celebrate with her mother.

Now that fall is here, the men of the community are meeting the first Saturday of each month for the Men’s Breakfast at Zion Lutheran Church. On Saturday they enjoyed a tasty breakfast and good fellowship.

On Oct. 15 the members and friends of Zion and Lutsen Lutheran Churches will gather at Lutsen to celebrate a 2 p.m. “Service of Ordination” for Tom Murray. All are welcome to attend and celebrate.
