Agates swim team goes undefeated

The Agate swimming team continues its undefeated record with a varsity and junior varsity win against Northeast Range-Ely Wednesday, 107-66.

Diver Rebecca Ronning broke her personal record at Wednesday night’s meet. Her best score this season is now 204.25, which is just 12.45 points from the school record set in 1987.

“Some good competition and good times came out of the pool Tuesday night,” coach Heather Oberg said.

The Agates hoped to continue their winning streak against Proctor-Hermantown at a home meet. Thursday “It will be a really close meet and should be a ton of fun,” Oberg said.

The next Agates swim meet Thursday against Grand Rapids.
