Golf results: Ardie Dahl-Shirley Nelson Memorial Golf Tournament
Earl Meyer became the first back-to-back winner in the history of the Ardie Dahl-Shirley Nelson Memorial Golf Tournament. The 40th annual tournament was held Sunday at Lakeview National Gold Course in Two Harbors. Ben Ray was the runner-up in the men’s division.
In the newly formed Shirley (Dahl) Nelson Ladies’ Division, Cathy Erickson came away with a one-stroke victory over her mother, Ruth Erickson. Both of the champions finished with a net score of 68 in the handicap format.
Proceeds from the event are presented to Two Harbors Junior Golf.
