Gary Lee Cordts, 58, of International Falls, died Sept. 21, 2011, at home.

Gary Lee Cordts, 58, of International Falls, died Sept. 21, 2011, at home. Gary was born in Two Harbors and graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1971. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and graduated from the University of Arizona.

Gary married Diane Westerlund in 1988. They moved to International Falls in 1989, where Gary worked for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources as a fish and census clerk. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, reading, and sports. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Betty Cordts of Two Harbors; and brother, Roger of Tucson.

Gary is survived by wife, Diane; and son, Dillon of International Falls; brothers, John (Marianne) of International Falls, Dennis (Jackie) of Two Harbors, Allan of Two Harbors, and James of Duluth; and sister, Carol (Greg) Miller of Cloquet.
