Shipping traffic for Monday, March 19

With the Mesabi Miner (first to depart from and probably first to arrive in the Twin Ports this afternoon to load coal) and John G. Munson (probably second to depart Duluth on Tuesday and first to arrive Two Harbors) getting the early season attention, it will be a few more days before the rest of the lakers set sail.

With the Mesabi Miner (first to depart from and probably first to arrive in the Twin Ports this afternoon to load coal) and John G. Munson (probably second to depart Duluth on Tuesday and first to arrive Two Harbors) getting the early season attention, it will be a few more days before the rest of the lakers set sail. The American Spirit, shown here in Two Harbors in October 2010, will be one of a handful of boats to leave winter layup later this week.
