Diane Dugas and Jarad Jackson are engaged to married in October. Diane grew up on the North Shore, graduated from Hermantown High School in 1997, and earned a master’s degree in education at the University of Minnesota. She is employed as a consumer credit counselor at Family Means in Minneapolis. She is the daughter of Deb and Bob Smoger of Hermantown and George and Colleen Dugas of Two Harbors.

Jarad is a 1995 graduate of Wadena-Deer Creek High School and St. Cloud State University. He is the son of Marilyn and Johnny Carver of Wadena, and Jack and Arlyce Jackson of Dickinson, N.D. He is employed as a sales representative for Norandex Building Materials Distribution in Bloomington.

The couple will reside in St. Louis Park.
