Lorne M. Hoganson
A celebration of life will be held for Lorne M. Hoganson at 10 a.m. July 9 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
Lorne died Jan. 23 in Louisville, Ky. He was 91.
He was born in Two Harbors Jan. 13, 1920, to Margaret and Harry Hoganson.
As young man, he worked the family dairy, was a logger, electrician, and carpenter.
In 1941, he married Florence LaBounty of Two Harbors. They had three children. They owned and operated Hoganson’s Market and Butcher Shop in Segog. Lorne also worked for the DM&IR, Skelly Oil, and the school district.
