The University of Minnesota Duluth announced its Dean’s List for spring semester. Students on the list have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Three students from Silver Bay were part of the list: Ken Byrnes (senior in science and engineering), Bechorah Oltman (sophomore in liberal arts), and Jenna Smuk (senior in fine arts, music).
The University of Minnesota Crookston had two graduates from Silver Bay this spring: Jon Michalski (sports and recreation management) and Mark Michalski (golf and turf management). Mark Michalski was also named to the Dean’s List this spring. Lowell Hanson of Two Harbors (sports and recreation management) also graduated.
Samantha Goette of Finland was named to the Honor’s List for spring semester at Finlandia University in Hancock, Mich. She completed her junior year with a 3.59 GPA.
