Susie Helgeson of Two Harbors had a hole-in-one at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course in Hawaii Feb. 22. Helgeson used a 9-iron to ace the 112-yard shot, which was witnessed by her husband, Greg, as well as Jodi and Mike Fagerland.

Katarina Hansen, featured in the News-Chronicle two weeks ago for selling more than 500 Girl Scouts cookies, ended up selling 614, her mother, Mary reported.

Laura Jackson (above) of Just Kids Dental recently accepted a $750 check from the Pamida Foundation and Tim Lekatz (above)from the Two Harbors Pamida store for the school-based preventative dental health care clinics in Lake County.  Just Kids Dental is a nonprofit organization that provides care to children at schools in Silver Bay and Two Harbors who have limited or no access to dental care.
