Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Pam (Larson) Premo, who passed away recently. Pam is the daughter of Doreen Larson of Silver Bay. Funeral services were Monday in St. Cloud.

Chris Sinderman motored to St. Cloud last weekend, visiting with his cousin, Doug Striker and Vanessa Rakow. He also saw his aunt and uncle, Ann and Larry Striker in Foley. On Sunday he joined Jim, Verna and Michael Sinderman and Karen Blomberg in Eagan, where they celebrated the birthdays of Chris and Larry Sinderman.

St. Urho’s Day is upon us with many events going on throughout the weekend. Make sure to get to town early as Highway 1 will shut down at noon for the parade. There will be food along the parade route at the Finland Co-op, Finland Fire and Rescue Hall and from the After Prom committee. Check out the local establishments for food and music throughout the weekend.

The Zion Lutheran Church Women will have a pie social at the new community center following the parade. They will be serving delicious pie and ice cream from 1-4 p.m., which includes the dedication ceremony at 2 p.m.
