Suspect arrested in Christmas Eve bank robbery in Two Harbors

A 25-year old Finland, Minn., man was in the Lake County Jail on Monday night after being arrested in connection with the Christmas Eve robbery of the Lake Bank branch office at Super One store in Two Harbors.

The robbery occurred just before 10 a.m. Saturday when the suspect displayed a gun at the bank. Further investigation by Two Harbors Police, the FBI and the Proctor Police Department led to the suspect’s arrest at a home in Proctor.

A decision on whether the suspect will be charged in state or federal court is expected later this week, according to a news release from the Two Harbors Police Department.
