The 228-foot Canadian Coast Guard cutter Samuel Risley arrived at the DECC on Saturday morning. The U.S. Coast Guard cutter Alder transferred a NOAA weather buoy to the Risley on Sunday morning. The Alder had picked up the buoy for the Canadian Coast Guard on its last voyage across Lake Superior. After completing the transfer, the Alder left port for additional buoy work on the lake.
