On Dec. 4th there was a craft show at the community center hosted by the Agate Bay Crafts group. The group allows the members of The Place to participate in the show to help raise funds for the various activities that are available to the children of Two Harbors.
One of the things we do that day is conduct a raffle. The raffle items have all been donated. This particular Saturday one of the raffle items was a beautiful snow globe. It was from the San Francisco Music Box Company and had cute little snowmen and snow on the inside – an expensive and wonderful donation.
I am sad to say that someone liked it so much they decided to steal it. I hope that if anyone reading this has seen that snow globe that they do the right thing and return it, no questions asked. It can be put on the front porch of 505 Eighth Ave., but please be sure it is wrapped up so it doesn’t get ruined in the weather.
