Oberstar visit to Finland is off
Because of ongoing votes in Washington, the planned visit to Finland by U.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar Tuesday has been postponed.
Because of ongoing votes in Washington, the planned visit to Finland by U.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar Tuesday has been postponed. It was to be part of an open house for the nearly finished Clair Nelson Intermodal and Finland Community Center building.
Honor Schauland, coordinator of the community center project, said the event could be rescheduled in January, when the building will officially be open, or perhaps as part of March 12 St. Urho’s Day festivities.
