A benefit supper was held Sunday afternoon for Randy “The Cooter” Nelson at Schroeder Town Hall. It was sponsored by the fire departments in Schroeder, Tofte, Lutsen, Grand Marais, and Finland. There was a large crowd on hand to support “The Cooter” while his heart is healing.
Dale Nikula had knee surgery Monday in Duluth. Speedy get-well wishes go out to Dale.
We now have a winter wonderland with the large amount of snowfall this past weekend. Finland reported about 10-11 inches between Saturday and Sunday.
