Zion Lutheran Church Women will be hosting the 33rd Annual Country Bazaar 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. The women have been busy making homemade lefse, bakery goods, crafts, wreaths, and lunch. A raffle drawing will be held at the end of the bazaar.

Don Olson, the son of the late Harold and Edna Olson of Two Harbors, died recently at the age of 80. Don was a nephew to Lila Hangartner and a cousin to Diane Lindberg. Deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Don.

Ellen Hogenson, Ruth Himes, Judy Martell and Linda Nikolai were lunch guests at the home of Evelyn Buetow Friday and reported a wonderful visit.

Dennis and Shelly Nelson again celebrated Halloween with creating the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frankenstein, open to the public to enjoy. Their costumes were outstanding as usual.

Thank you to the West Branch and their gang for putting on the Haunted House for Halloween. Fun was had by all.

Silver Bay AmericInn had its annual Halloween Trick or Treat Sunday afternoon with a large crowd attending. The free event was sponsored by the hotel and many local individuals and organizations.
