Letter to the editor: Partner vouches for Hurd

I was Jeremy Hurd’s law partner until this May, when I opened my own office. Based on personally working with Jeremy for most of the last 10 years, I support him in his bid for Lake County Attorney.

Jeremy is an effective and talented trial attorney. When called upon to appear in court for the citizens of Lake County he will be tireless and skillful in his pursuit of justice.

Jeremy is an excellent administrator. We worked together in a small law firm that required regular attention to personnel matters, budgets and payroll. Under his leadership the Lake County Attorney’s office will run smoothly.

Jeremy has an outstanding sense of justice and community. I personally experienced his compassion for the needs of our clients. The citizens of Lake County will find him to be fair and open-minded.

Jeremy is devoted to Lake County. He is a walking Chamber of Commerce for Lake County, exhibiting pride for his hometown where ever he goes.

As a fellow member of the bar and his former partner, I wholeheartedly recommend the citizens of Lake County select Jeremy Hurd for their attorney.
