The Esko girls and boys swept Polar League team and individual titles Wednesday at the Pincushion Trail System in Grand Marais, led by junior Marisa Shady’s course-record win.
Shady won the 4,000-meter girls race in 14 minutes, 29 seconds, breaking the mark of 15:23 by Sarah Chasson of Cromwell-Floodwood in 2009.
Esko senior Jackson Lindquist was first in the boys 5,000-meter race in 17:04.
