“Watercolors,” an exhibit of paintings by Barbara Lundell, are on display at Vanilla Bean Café in Two Harbors through Sept. 13. The show features North Shore scenes inspired by the artist’s enjoyment of the area the past 20 years.
Lundell is a self-taught artist. She has taught watercolor for the White Bear Community Services and the Mahtomedi Senior Center. She is an active member of the Northstar Watercolor Society and the San Diego Watercolor Society. She has been in many juried shows, including Minnesota’s fine arts show.
Vanilla Bean, on Seventh Avenue, is open daily 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Board members wanted
The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council is currently accepting applications from individuals wishing to serve on its board. Two at-large positions and a student position are open. ARAC offers grant support and technical assistance to individual artists and non-profit arts organizations who reside in the seven counties which make up the Arrowhead Region: Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis.
