With a primary election coming up on Aug. 4, the News-Chronicle looks at local races involving more than two candidates. Candidate lists have to be pared down to two in the election for a North Shore judge and Lake County commissioner in District 4. Eight attorneys have filed to replace retiring Two Harbors Judge Kenneth Sandvik while three candidates will challenge incumbent Paul Bergman for the commissioner job.
