A fast and furious fourth
The Fourth of July fireworks display at Agate Bay Sunday was spectacular if not a bit short. Some thought something must have gone awry as there was a furious display before what appeared to be the finale and things ended after about 10 minutes.

If you blinked, you might have missed the Two Harbors fireworks show July 4.
The Fourth of July fireworks display at Agate Bay Sunday was spectacular if not a bit short. Some thought something must have gone awry as there was a furious display before what appeared to be the finale and things ended after about 10 minutes.
Two Harbors Fire Chief Mark Schlangen said his crew reported nothing out of the ordinary that night.
If something was amiss, the display company, Premier Pyrotechnics, and the city of Two Harbors aren’t talking.
Both refused to reply to questions about the short show. Earlier in the day, children enjoyed the annual races at the baseball field and an overflow crowd took in the city band at Thomas Owens Park.
