- 6:30 p.m. Kiddie Parade start, prizes for best floats, costumes

- 6:45 p.m. Kids games, face painting, lemonade at Thomas Owens Park

- 7 p.m. City band concert in the park, Thomas Owens Park bandshell, with ice cream social

- 7:30 p.m. “Beat the Loop” classic car cruise, meet at R.J. Houle Information Center at 7 p.m.

Friday, July 9

- 11 a.m. Saxophone music by Ricky Sundstrom, Depot stage

- Noon-sunset Helicopter rides near Depot tracks

- Noon Coronation of Miss Lake Superior North Shore at community center

- 1 p.m. Old Timers Band at Thomas Owens Park bandshell

- 2 p.m. Saxophone music by Ricky Sundstrom at Depot stage

- 4 p.m. Lutefisk toss at Depot stage, Swedes vs. Norwegians. Win a prize.

- 5 p.m. Watermelon eating contest

- 7 a.m. to noon Pancake breakfast at Two Harbors Fire Department

- 8 a.m. Classic car show, registration by 11 a.m. to be eligible for trophies awarded at 3:30 p.m.

- 8 a.m. Motor cars on train tracks

- 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Crafters at Thomas Owens Park

- 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Voyageur Art Center open

- 10 a.m. Helicopter rides near Depot tracks

- 1 p.m. Music by Terrol and Jane- Band at Thomas Owens Park bandshell
